Procurve 1920 SNMP Timeout

Hi,

We have a new fleet of HP Procuve 1920 that we are replacing our netgears with. We have come across an odd issue that only affects the HP's.

Every 6-7hrs we loose SNMP connectivity (we get an SNMP timeout) on the switch for approximately 30-60 seconds, after that the SNMP carries on as normal. The switch does not reboot, the swicthing continues as normal.

We use PRTG (Paessler) as the monitoring solution has anyne come across this type of scenraio before?
