In my home office I have recently fitted a PROCURVE J9028B 1800-24G switch. Ports 23T & 24T are LACP bonded to a Synology DiskStation. Both PC's on the network are reporting 1GB network, the Diskstation is reporting 2 x 1GB networks.
When I initiate a file transfer from anywhere to anywhere (PC to PC, PC to DiskStation, etc.) I only get 50MB/s transfer rate.
Both PC's are using the Linux MInt OS. The DiskStation runs another flavour of Linux.
The switch is set up with DHCP off, so that service can be provided by the 1GB router (Draytek Vigor 2860n). All the switch ports are set as :-
Port Type: 10/100/1000-T
Link Status: Up
Speed/Duplex Status: 1000FDX
Flow Control Status: Disabled
Auto-negotiation: Enabled
Frame Type: All
PVID: 1
Any advice to get me up to a decent transfer speed would be appreciated.
Thanks,
