can anyone help I have 1910-8G-PoE+ (65W) , 1910-8G-PoE+ (180W that keeps poer led plashing and 9I have been trying to upload throught TFTP (1910-CMW520-R1519P03) but unfortunalty nothing is working it keeps comming back with Loading----- Failed

I want make modifications in my home network. At home I have small office. I want to separate buissnes and home networks. Idea is that computers from both networks need to have access to internet (thru Asus RT-AC58U router and it should works as DHCP server for both networks). Computers from buissnes network need to have access to buissnes server. Computers from home network need to have access to home servers and to buissnes server. I want to have access to home and business servers from Internet. In the future I want add IP cameras which will record video on one of the home server. All business computers will be connected directly to switch by cable. Home computers I connect thru cable or wifi (thru router). There is some Tv's which need to have access to DLNA on home servers. For that I need buy switch (I want that all of that functional must be made by switch by settings ports I don't want do any settings directly on connected computers). I think about HP1820 or HP1920s. Which one can do what I want? Or maybe I can do this with cheaper one.

On the HP 1920-24G, I designate Mode as RSTP and Path Cost as Legacy, but the Path Cost Values are 802.1W (RSTP) values (eg: 20, 200, 200000).
Why aren't the correct 802.1D Path Costs being used?

HP1820-48Gを接続したところ、2が月に1回(50起動のうち1回)程度、
起動時にアライドとHP間のHUBが接続されずpingが通らない事象が発生します。
HP1820-48Gを再起動すると接続されることから、HP1820-48Gとの相性問題かと見ています。
設定方法等の回避策があれば教えていただきたくお願いします。
ちなみに、HP1820-48GバージョンはPT.01.10となっおり、PT.02.03がリリースされているようなので、関連する不具合報告があれば、バージョンアップを行います。以上

For non of them I know wether the IP-Address of the WebManagement nor the admin password.
Is there a way to do a Factory Reset of these Switches?

wir haben aktuell ca. 10 Switches aus der Serie 1920 im Einsatz, die wir in unserem dynamischen VLAN-Management mit macmon verwalten.
Jetzt haben wir einen neuen 1920S bekommen, bei dem die Konfigurationsoberfläche leider mal wieder komplett anders ist.
Kann mir jemand sagen wie ich dort einen Port taggen und diesem dann meine angelegten VLANs zuweisen kann ?.
Vorab schon mal vielen Dank für jegliche Unterstützung und/oder Tipps

unser neuer HPE OfficeConnect Switch 1920S 24G 2SFP JL381A hat noch einen Softwarestand PD.01.05.
Aktuell ist PD.01.07.
Habe mir über unser Portal die für den Switch passende Version heruntergeladen und versucht auf das Gerät zu übertragen. Der Transfer bricht leider jedesmal mit einem Fehler ab.
Ich nutze Maintenance > Backup an Update Manager und versuche die Datei dort mit HTTP auf den Switch zu laden.
Das Teil macht mich noch wahnsinnig :-(

I am currently configuring a 24port 1920S, I have configured the switch with a base config as I want to push the same config to another 1920S switch. Both switches have been updated to the latest firmware prior to me backing up the config files.
I have backed up the following config files:
Startup
Backup
I have managed to upload the startup config file via HTTP, once my startup config file has been transferred to the switch, I access the Configuration Files Under the Maintence Tab and change the running config to startup config and apply the change, I also click on the Save Config Tab to complete the process, however once I reboot the switch, my new config has not been deployed as per the Forum this change should be immediate.
Please kindly advise as to what the issue might be and if I might be missing a step.

I have 4 HP 1920S (the "s" in the model number is important) switches that I'm trying to set up in a mesh configuration with LAG connections. This is a rough diagram of what I'm trying to do: https://imgur.com/a/IldkI
I've set up this same configuration multiple times with 1920 (without the "s") switches without problems. But when I try to configure the same thing on these 1920s switches it creates a network loop / broadcast storm and brings the network down. (I have these 4 switches isolated in a lab.) I don't know what I'm doing wrong and will very much appreciate any help anyone can send my way.
These are the steps I followed to create the 6 LAGs.
*Create VLANs 100 and 200
*Add VLANS 100 and 200 to TRK1 through TRK6, set "Participation" to "Include", set "Tagging" to "Tagged"
*Add ports to TRK1 through TRK6, set "Static mode" to "Disabled". For example SW1 and SW2 are both connected through their ports 47 and 48, so I add ports 47 and 48 to TRK1 on SW1 and SW2. But SW2 ports 45+46 connect to SW3 ports 43+44 through TRK4, so I configure them accordingly by adding those specific ports on each switch to TRK4. And so on...
I have 2 separate workstations, one with 10.0.0.10/24 plugged into SW1 and the other with 10.0.0.11/24 plugged into SW2. When I connect ports 47+48 on SW1 to ports 47+48 on SW2 (which is TRK1) then both workstations can ping each other successfully. When I connect the rest of TRK2 through TRK6 the loop gets created and the workstations cannot ping each other anymore.
Do the 1920s switches not support link aggregation? The manual says they do, but there is no "Network -> Link Aggregation" menu option like there is on the 1920 or 1910 models.

We have some troubles when we try to configure the switch, we connect the port 1 (WAN) to an internal NAT that provides DHCP. But when try to connect many devices (more than 2) the PORT 1 goes down and it fail (lossing the connectivity with the network)
We have reach in internet possible issues but still we don't have the solution? Maybe someone of you guys can help me?

I have a number of HP 1920G PoE switches and I would like to assign IP addresses to these switches via DHCP by a reservation. The MAC address on the back of the device is not the MAC address that is being used to request the IP address from DHCP (or so it would seem), because if I use that address to setup the reservation, the IP is still assigned in the normal DHCP scope.
Does anyone know where I can get the MAC address for these devices?
Basics:
- We have 2 old 192048G (A/B) switches.
- They are connectes via 5 * RJ45 and dynamic link aggregation.
- This is working just fine. I can ping/transfer from anywhere to anywhere on these two.
Problem:
- Now we have a 3. 48G Switch, but now it is a 1950 (C).
- We tried to configure everything like on the 2 1920, but it is not working.
- If just ping from switch A to C, B to C,... nothing is going through.
Config:
- A (5) <-> (5) B (5) <-> (5) C
- LinkAggregation (Bridged) Dynamic
- All defined ports (20) on all 3 switches are:
-- "Type" = trunk,
-- "PVID" = 1
-- "Permit VLAN List" = 100,200.
-- Untagged from VLAN 1
How can I see, like on the 2 1920, uder Network->LACP, the working or problems with LACP on the 1950? On the 1950 there is no LACP status site!? Or?
What do I miss? What can I try? Or maybe what is the best config?

How to see cable length, connected to HPE OfficeConnect switch port?
(HPE OfficeConnect Switch 1850-48G 4XGT JL171A, PC.01.06)
HPE 1820 48G Switch (PT.01.06) is used.
Sometimes, after startup, ports 1 - 24 are OK, but ports 25 - 48 may not be able to connect. Although the link lamp is attached and the packet is received, it seems that the packet is discarded without transferring it. However, restarting will restore it. Is there any problem report?
